Risa B.

Risa grew up on the island of Guam and moved around California and Texas for a bit before settling in San Diego where she currently resides.

Risa is a creative and has a vibrant spirit geared towards entrepreneurship. She currently has a full-time career in the medical field and spends a lot of her free time surfing and working on Paddle for Peace. She also volunteers for the Surfrider San Diego executive committee.

​

Her dream is to see more black and brown people at the beach and in the water. Aside from surfing, her passions are ocean conservation, traveling, creating, cooking and helping others.
